When you join the FGI SmartPanel, you join hundreds of thousands of other panelists participating in research surveys about a variety of different subjects. These surveys are conducted on behalf of some of the most important companies in the country, and your opinions will be heard!
Our customers are the nation's largest manufacturers, universities, public opinion firms, media companies, advertising agencies, and service providers. When they ask us to get information from consumers, we turn to you. Your feedback and opinions help companies make their decisions about the products and services they offer.
You will not necessarily be contacted for each and every project. Selection often depends on age, gender, geographical area, and other specific requirements.
We will check our requirements against your profile, and if you match the basic criteria of that particular project, we will e-mail you to let you know about it. If not, you will be contacted for another project.
When you are invited to participate in one of our studies, you will first complete a Project Qualification questionnaire - known in the business as a 'screener' -- which helps us determine whether or not you fit the exact requirements for that project. If you meet these requirements, you will be able to participate in the project and be eligible for rewards.
From time to time, you will receive an invitation to tell us more about yourself. This is called a 'profile update' questionnaire, and your responses will help us find more surveys that you qualify for so that you can have more opportunities to participate!
